I had never built a site before I started ours and I had big ideas on what I wanted to accomplish, the system already put in place let me mix the little I knew about HTML with an easy builder that helped create the site we wanted. Having a site that looks nice and is easy to navigate has been incredibly useful to our recruitment and within the Greek community. Through our site we have gained a lot of new members who decided to come out and try our group based on our website alone. ."

Keep it updated
"It is a big task maintaining a web site, but if you want your user interest to peak, it is important to keep the web site updated. Members are more inclined to return to the web site, if the information is continuously updated. Blogs, Forums, Chat add-ons are some of the ways you can have an open platform amongst users of the site"
Keep it simple
" keep it simple and cut down on the flash. Our site is a convenient, pre-built Freewebs site, which makes it easy for me even though I do know HTML, I do not need to mess with the code."
Plan your content
" The best pages to include are ones that let prospective members get to know your members, coming into a large group of unknown people can be scary, giving a little bit of information and photos of your members can make people feel more at ease when they decide to come out to your events. An updated page with events is also very important. It not only keeps your members up to date but anyone new looking to join wont miss an opportunity to do so. ."
